A found log story.
Bristol, 1759. Seventeen souls set sail for Wilmington, North Carolina - a captain, his crew, and a young woman.
Mirabelle King came aboard quiet and pale, keeping to her cabin. The crew whispered the old sailors’ warnings, but no one took heed.
The Providence was found adrift off the Carolina coast, her sails full, her decks empty. This is the log they recovered from the abandoned captain’s cabin, door barred from within.
